Biography

Professor Dr. Sajid Nisar is a distinguished physician, academic, and medical educator whose professional career reflects a lifelong commitment to excellence, learning, and public service. He received his MBBS from Allama Iqbal Medical College in 1985 and subsequently pursued advanced postgraduate training in Ireland, obtaining MRCP (Ireland), MRCP (UK), and FRCP (Edinburgh). His professional journey has encompassed clinical practice, medical education, postgraduate training, research, and academic leadership.

Throughout his career, Professor Dr. Sajid Nisar has remained closely associated with the advancement of medical education and clinical practice in Pakistan. He has contributed to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at leading medical institutions and has served in senior academic and clinical capacities. His association with Services Hospital and the Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) has been particularly notable, including his service as a senior professor and Head of Medicine.
